We started this site because most hosting advice online is terrible. Affiliate farms disguised as reviews. Outdated comparisons that haven’t been checked since 2019. Generic “top 10” lists where the rankings mysteriously match commission rates.

It’s not that good information doesn’t exist. It’s just buried under so much noise that most business owners give up and pick whatever their developer mentions first. Or worse, whatever shows up in a Google ad.

We wanted to build something more useful than that.

What we actually do: Independent reviews of web hosting platforms, focused on performance, reliability, and whether the pricing makes sense over time. Not just at signup. We test things. We track uptime. We submit support tickets and see what happens. We look at what renewals cost and how painful migrations are.

What we don’t do: Rank hosts by who pays us the most. Publish reviews without actually using the platform. Pretend every host is great for everyone.

The team

We’re a small group of people who’ve spent years working in web hosting, site management, and the general chaos of keeping online businesses running. Some of us have managed infrastructure for startups. Others have dealt with enterprise environments where downtime means very uncomfortable phone calls. A few have been on the vendor side and know exactly how the sales pitch differs from the reality.

This isn’t a faceless content operation. When we say something works well or doesn’t, there’s usually a specific frustration or success behind it.

Why this matters

Hosting decisions feel small until they aren’t. Pick the wrong platform and you’re dealing with slow load times, unreliable support, or a migration project you didn’t budget for. Pick the right one and you mostly forget about it, which is the point.

We’re not trying to make you a hosting expert. Most people have better things to do. We’re trying to give you enough clarity to make a confident decision and move on with your actual work.
